Are you looking for the perfect place to host your big day? Bride: The Wedding Show at Knebworth Barns on 6-7 January 2018 will be showcasing a selection of the region’s premier wedding venues. Here’s a look at just some of them.
Ware Priory, Stand number: 67
Ware Priory is a Grade I listed building dating back to 1338. It has been restored to a very high standard and offers a traditional and historical space for your special day. There are a variety of rooms to choose from, each with their own charms and styles. Fletcher’s Lea – the much larger modern day function room – stands in the grounds of Ware Priory and offers a bright and contemporary atmosphere, while Riverside Suite overlooks the River Lea.There are many historical features including arched windows, interesting stonework and pretty planters and hanging baskets adorn the space. At the back of the building, there is a wisteria archway from the building into the seven acres of grounds. There are lots of romantic spots overlooking the river including the two bridges that cross the inlet of water leading to the island, which has its own bandstand.
Hotel Cromwell, Stand number: 133
Newly refurbished for 2017, the Hotel Cromwell is the perfect wedding venue, located in the heart of the historic Stevenage Old Town. Offering civil ceremonies and wedding breakfasts for up to 150 guests in the Cromwell Suite and up to 200 guests in the evening, the venue can also offer a smaller celebration for up to 50 guests. Dates are still available for 2018 and the team will have offers available at the show.
Offley Place, Stand number: 56
Offley Place in Hitchin is where traditional English grandeur meets the modern day. Situated within 27 acres of lush parkland, it is the perfect setting to host any occasion. Offley Place specialises in weddings, catering from 10 people to 250 people and offers 16 unique bedrooms to enjoy. Offley Place is a quaint family-run business that prides itself on its kind, welcoming and helpful staff alongside a team of highly skilled wedding and events co-ordinators ready to plan your special occasion.
Knebworth House, Stand number: 107
There is no doubt Knebworth House is a truly memorable and remarkable setting for your wedding day. Offering a choice of venue and mouth-watering menus, it is understandable why everyone from Queen Elizabeth I to Robbie Williams have chosen it as one of the finest locations.

Bride: The Wedding Show at Knebworth Barns provides the perfect setting for planning your wedding. As well as hosting more than 80 of the region’s premier bridal suppliers, the show makes a great day out with three show-stopping catwalks taking place at 11.30am, 1.15pm and 3pm each day, live music from Mr H Productions, a bridal boutique where you can try on dresses, a champagne bar to lend even more sparkle to the occasion and free copies of Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire & Bedfordshire Bride magazine to pick up.
