Bride: The Wedding Show returns to Westpoint Exeter on 28-29 March promising even more wedding ideas and inspiration for engaged couples.

With over 120 of the region’s leading wedding suppliers, a sensational catwalk show showcasing latest fashions in wedding wear and a jam-packed programme of musical entertainment, it is truly the “must attend” wedding show in the South West.

Bridalwear boutiques, cake makers, transport providers, stationers, photographers, venues, florists and more will be on hand to offer their expert advice.  Ahead of the show, some of the exhibitors share their words of wisdom on wedding planning and how to get the most out of a wedding show…

“Organisation and timelines are definitely key. Make a spreadsheet and list all of the items that you have to complete along with timelines. When it comes to wedding shows, take your time and don’t panic. My top tip is to walk around the event venue once looking at all of the different suppliers and as you do so, make a note of those that stand out and you would like to visit again. Then revisit them for a friendly chat.” Jill Wheller, owner of Baked by Jill

“At a wedding show, speak to as many suppliers as possible. It’s always best to come with a clear idea of what you need and where those suppliers are in the show, so see them first. You should also have a realistic budget for your suppliers as there’s so much on offer, you need a clear plan of attack and then you can browse through the rest of the exhibitors.” Emily Brown, senior events co-ordinator at Dillington House
